Dyslexia Reporting
§ 6-41-606
(a) The superintendent of a school district annually shall report the results of the school district screening required under § 6-41-603.
(b) Before July 15, a public school district shall report on the website of the public school district or in writing to parents of each student in the public school district the following information:
(1) The dyslexia intervention programs used during the previous school year that were specifically responsive to assisting students with dyslexia;
(2) The number of students during the previous school year who received dyslexia intervention under this subchapter; and
(3) The total number of student identified with dyslexia during the previous school year.
2024
We currently have 97 students K-12 receiving Dyslexia intervention. We currently use Sonday and Barton for our Dyslexia interventions.
2023
We currently have 104 students K-12 receiving Dyslexia intervention. We currently use Sonday and Barton for our Dyslexia interventions.
2022
We currently have 91 students K-12 receiving Dyslexia intervention.
2021
We currently have 83 students receiving Dyslexia intervention.
May 2020
The Lamar School District identified 96 students showing characteristics of Dyslexia. We currently use the Sonday Program to provide Dyslexia Therapy to all 96 identified students K-12.
May 2019
The Lamar School District identified 107 students showing characteristics of Dyslexia. We currently use the Sonday Program to provide Dyslexia Therapy to all 107 identified students K-12.
May 2018
The Lamar School District identified 136 students showing characteristics of Dyslexia. We currently use the Sonday Program to provide Dyslexia Therapy to all 136 identified students K-12.
May 2017
The Lamar School District identified nine students showing characteristics of Dyslexia. We currently use the Sonday Program to provide Dyslexia Therapy to all nine identified students K-12.
